风雪狼道这部电影讲述的是上个世纪人们淘金热事件，这部影片真实地反映出人们在金钱面前相互残杀甚至不顾生命安全的现象，人的劣根性也就在于此，在利益面前，我们总是像狼一样贪婪，只要自己能获利，其他一切似乎都不重要。而影片中的公安则是与淘金客相反的形象，为了救这群贪婪的人，他们不顾自身安危踏入死亡谷，这种牺牲让人惋惜。在现实中，又有多少人因为利益而伤害他人，那些把生的希望留给了别人的人。
